Optical-fibre-based SPR sensors (SPR-POF)

The surface plasmon resonance polymer optical fiber (SPR-POF) technology can be used for remote sensing and can be developed as a small-sized portable assay platform. We collaborate with researchers at DTU Electro, who have experience with development of SPR-POF.

In collaboration with DTU Electro we offer to:

  • Develop new assays for the SPR-POF platform
  • Develop multiplex assay for simultaneous detection of multiple analytes in a single sample volume

We contribute with development of detection probes that can be implemented in the SPR-POF sensors for highly sensitive detection of analytes in various sample types. We are currently focusing on developing aptamer detection probes that are selected from a oligonucleotide library using the Systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment (SELEX) in-vitro selection method.
