We bring knowledge and technology into play

We design antibodies and aptamer-based assays for integration into; biosensors (SPR-based polymer optic fiber sensors), LFA (Lateral Flow Assay) and surveillance hardware e.g. at hospital wards.

We offer to:

  • Develop point-of-care testing (PoCT) devices for detection of proteins, peptides, small molecules etc. using aptamers or antibodies. PoCT devices can be designed as LFAs chips or POF sensors (the latter in collaboration with DTU Electro)
  • Develop analyte-specific aptamers
  • Develop high-throughput assays for the Luminex or Meso Scale platforms

Point-of-care testing

The LFA is a commonly used paper-based point-of-care test method for rapid detection of analytes in biological samples such as blood or saliva. The LFA is a simple, cheap and practical detection method that does not require laboratory facilities. The results are displayed within 5-30 minutes. We have all the necessary equipment to develop and produce LFA devices.

Point-of-care testing

The surface plasmon resonance polymer optical fiber (SPR-POF) technology can be used for remote sensing and can be developed as a small-sized portable assay platform. We collaborate with researchers at DTU Electro, who have experience with development of SPR-POF.

High-throughput assays

We have expertise with the use of high-throughput technology platforms for multiplexed detection of targets, including Luminex xMAP and Mesoscale (MSD) technology.

We offer to develop new assays or kits for the Luminex and Meso Scale platforms, e.g. biomarker assays. The assays can be based on oligonucleotide aptamers or antibodies.
